Does anyone know where I can buy OE/Nissan factory flywheel bolts? My local dealer is on a two week back order.

What are the torque specs and bolt pattern for the flywheel and pressure plate bolts?

Also, is it really bad if you breath in clutch disc dust? I took off my clutch today and now I feel sick.

Thanks.

For what engine? KA or SR20? Torque spec for SR20 is atleast 100 ft/lbs and KA is low 90s ft/lbs. Always make sure you step torque the bolts, dont go cranking them all in right up to 100. I usually torque them all the bolts down to 60 first then move up to 100.

Its a DOHC does that explain what motor it is or are both the motors that came in the 92 DOHC?

And how sure are you on these mustang flywheel bolts working for the 240sx? Is it common to use mustang flywheel bolts or is it something people just talk about?

This is completely wrong... The KA has LARGER flywheel bolts which are torqued to like 90-95 lb/ft. The SR has smaller bolts that are torqued to 65-70 lb/ft.

As for the pattern just do a star pattern. Torque one bolt, then the one exactly oppsite, then the one closest to exactly opposite, etc... It's not rocket science, hell it doesn't really matter what pattern you torque the flywheel in.

Search...

i posted the thread pitch and length of SR CA and KA somewhere in the tech section...

but ill be nice

CA M10x1.0 X30mm
SR M10x1.0 x25mm
KA m12x1.25 x22mm

if im not mistaken...

strength i dont remember...i think the KA's are all stamped with a 7, which translates to a strength level...

they didn't one is from japan... And tons of cars come with different motor options in the same year. For example mustangs come in a v6 or v8. It's not just nissans champ :ddog:

Your stomach will stop hurting if you drink tranny fluid after inhaling clutch dust.
The chemicals in the fluid will cancel out the harmful effects of the dust.

Seriously tho isnt it like that on BMW's too?
Dont they want you to stay healthy?

I love Nissan cuz they care about their owners health.
