sup...have any of you guys done this brake upgrade. A OEM remanufacture cailbers from autozone about 140 for the front...2 piston. and get a rotor from somewhere else. 26mm upgrade

is there supposed to be a link or something? Which brakes ya talkin about? I assume you do not mean the 4 piston 26mm Z32 brakes.

Yes people have gone this route. The only issue some people have is that the threading for the brake lines is aluminum (like the rest of the caliper) and is sometimes stripped or does not seal properly. But you just go back and exchange it for a new if that happens. The calipers are indeed 4 piston and you can get KVR rotors from Don at PDM racing that are already drilled for the 4-lug pattern. Don also carries the brake lines with proper fittings needed for the conversion.

why wouldnt you just get the q45 upgrade? im still not sure if your talking bout the na zx 26mm upgrade or the maxima/altima upgrade in the begining of that thread you posted. im thinking bout the q45 myself seeing as the person i bought the car off of never changed brake pads or it seems that way. you should see the rotors, they are so bad and gouged out, nasty. its a good excuse
