Well my friend just got his 97 240 a few days ago and tonight he takes it out for a spin to have some fun. So we went driving and into a empty parking lot. So he does a few doughnuts and after hes done w/ say 3 or 4 he comes to a full stop. After that he notices his steering is stiff. so he takes a drive around the parking lot and notices his power steering is out! So he puts his car in park and pops his hood. He sits in and starts steering and i hear a grinding sound coming from the resivior and everytime he steers the resivoir rumbles. There is nothing leaking from underneeth the car at all. What cused his steering to stiffen up and what are the solutions to this?
