Can i put my SR 5 speed bellhousing on a S-15 tranny?

Why would you? I believe it bolts right up....

Did you read the SR20 FAQ? I think i saw it in there.

The part numbers are different so...

the s15 SR20DET trans well.....bolts right up with out having to swap bell housings....... dumbass

LOL... and for sure custom driveshaft is needed.....

Yeah i was sure it did, the only time need to swap bell housing are SR-> KA and vice versa..But then why are the part numbers different?

because the other side of the bellhousings are different
s15 sr trans has a 3 peice housing where the 6 speed sr trans is a dual housing
