I am going to do an SR20 swap in my S14. The S13 redtop motors that are newer OBDII ('95+) are cheaper but will i have trouble with the wiring or the S13 ECU in my 96 S14. Please advice!!

Also does anyone know of an engine swap shop in NC?

To save you from being flamed, I will give you some advice. There is the search function which holds the key to invaluable information which is what you seek. And then, your friend, Google (personally not mine for privacy reasons, blah, blah :blah:)

I will tell you, SRSWAP.com has a nice little faq regarding the differences of the two motors. Shoot, even our F.A.Q.s here on the board are chock full of good tatsy info. I would personally go with the S14 black top just because its a little newer (not guaranteeing lower mileage) and just because it was made for the year of my car. And, I wont have to repaint the red valve cover to black sicne black is the color of my car...:D
