I have a 92 Kade, it's been running really wierd, it bogs sometime and has a wierd idle that goes up and down and sometimes stays put, I've also noticed if I hold it at a certain rpm that sometimes it will try to pulsate up and down, I've checked the timing and is 20 btdc, I did a comp check just bc and was 165 across all 4, recent tune up, and the ecu codes... When checking the ecu I got the 34 on mode 2 but back to mode one it through 55 which is all good.. Help please

try cleaning out ur maf, i had that same problem and then i cleaned out my maf with maf cleaner u can get from ur local kragen....it also adds HORSE POWER...thats what the cleaner says. try it out and update us

I've already cleaned the maf but with electric cleaner, it's still almost the same thing, but nothing... Still runs hella rich and shitty, I'm thinking the egr valve is stuck open so imma try cleaning it out

Have you tried another maf? I had the same issue once, even after i cleaned the maf it still ran shitty and super rich.

Idk I'm gonna try to go to pick n pull this weekend and get a maf, and try to find some other parts, they r free so I'm not trippin. What's the worst that will happen, it doesn't fix the problem...

I can say with confidence that it's probably your fuel pump. A friend and I were having similar issues 2 weeks ago, and we tried everything... mafs, vacuum, tune-up... we replaced our fuel pumps with Walbro 255's and it worked perfectly. And I've heard others having the same story...

+1 your fuel pump can be crapping out on you, same thing that recently happened to my buddies 240sx. bogs and sometime dies, checked maf, vac, timing and everything checked fine, replaced the fuel pump runs perfect now. while you're at it buy a Z32 fuel filter from dealer got mine for less than $15.

I really don't know about if it's the fuel pump, I'm leaning towards the egr bc it has the same symptoms as the egr valve staying open
