i was wondering if u guys can help me out with this one...
in the gauge cluster, the rpm and the temperature dont work properly...
so, it just kind of **** me off to not to find the answer to these....
if any one knows what is wrong, or have experienced it, please help a brother out...

if ur temp isnt working then u either didnt hook it up right or u got a loose connection- thats what happend to my firend lose connection.

i just finished the swap a few days ago. my temp is working along with all the other things;except the tach. i have not driven the car yet so can't tell it the mph is working..

i have the sohc right now. i only hooked up like 5 wires i think.
ground
tach
temp
etc.. left out the a/c one..
i used heavy throttles write up from the archives.
could it be the sensor?

89-90 tach will not work u need to change for a 91+ or a jdm one.

ok heres the deal, make sure you arent using an AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION tach. thos lil fcukers are different from teh manual transmission tachs. so yeah make sure if its JDM its has to be manual. ok.

and just to let you kno... the 180sx and the (s13) silvias share teh same tach. so swap away!

ps- good luck on your install. holla
