I wonder what it is. Do you think they can handle 6.6 kg/mm rate?

Yes they can. Or at least they will be close enough. If not you could have them revalved.

I've heard from a couple people that 500 lb/in (that is 8.9 kg/mm) is the max for Konis. Halz's comment would be a sure bet, though.;)

yes they can, I had 1000lbs/in ERS springs on koni yellows with no problems. Koni's can handle alot...

this is a little bit off topic, but can the koni yellows handle harsher spring rates than the agx's?

Just remember that Koni yellow's are meant to be valved for your application. The compression is non adjustable so you would need to specify what spring rate you want to run so they can match the valving accordingly.

The adjustabilty is only on the rebound stroke and it literally goes from softer than stock to almost solid (my fill body wiehgt pulling against it literally took oaver half a minute to fully release). My friend happend to be putting some tokiko illimina's on his car the same week I got my koni's and the konis can be set softer or stiffer at each extreme than the tokikos, though the compression stoke was about the 3/5 setting on his. Mine are supposedly matched with the Whiteline springs since I have the ****eline works kit.

Interesting... I had always thought that something around 500 or 600 lb/ft was the max for Koni Yellows, but it seems that they can handle a lot more! :eek:

I agree with the 500 max theory. I have 650's on the front of my car and have to have them revalved to get rid of some of the bounce.

With 1000lbs springs, how do you even know if they are working or not? You probably have next to no compression at all!

Actually you can tell the difference. Normal street driving I had it set to the softest and it wasn't that bad of a ride unless I hit a bump. When at hardest, might as well weld the shocks as one piece because there was no compression.
