2 mufflers+ no cat, need opinions

ok so my plan is to take off my cat, and run a magnaflow street series as the main, with a dynomax running as the sub muffler ( basically in place of the cat) both are straight through perforated and i am running 2.5 inch pipe. anyone see any probs with this? i basically want a low exhaust note and NO raspiness, i must eliminate raspiness at all costs. ( i dont have turbo. opinions welcome.

use a bullet style muffler as the resonator (summitracing.com)
why would you want to get rid of the cat :confused:

to get what little flow it will give me- plus im in michigan where no emission tests.
