Does anyone know about other walbro applications. My buddy had a is300 with two 255lph pumps and I was gonna pick one up but wasn't sure about fitment. It looks physically the same size.

The s13 sock is shorter and faces the wrong direction. You need to order the s13 kit and a prelude sock. It has the correct angle and faces the right direction. IIRC there is a write up on FA about it, I also had this on my previous car (s14) and it works.

I didn't know it was that complicated. I thought the walbro's are mostly universal, and all you need to do is splice the wires and connect them etc. I got mine directly from my friends evo and it works without the whole prelude sock or whatever?

I prefer the Denso pump but they are expensive.

Most important thing with a walbro is to make sure you have the Filter installed properly on the unit, Very big deal

Not saying it won't work. I'm just saying that you run the risk of fuel starvation if the tank gets low or if you slosh it around too much. Peace of mind is priceless.
