reverse light question on at to mt swap s14

well i swapped in an sr20 into my s14 at which time i also converted it to a manual. i ended up gettin somebody else to wire up the reverse lights(because i suck at wiring) but the only problem is that they come on in each gear except for neutral. i looked at the wiring and it looks correct from what ive been reading as far as which wires were ran to the reverse switch. im wondering if it could be the actual switch or could it still be the wiring?

Obviously it is the wiring. The switch being bad wouldn't allow it to work period. Sounds like it's wired to the neutral switch since it's the only one that effects it.
