backlights

Hello,

i don't have a 240, (yet).. but i need someone to answer my question:

i'm not all too hot about the S14's back lights.. i wuz wondering if i could swap those backlights wif some other sort of lights. letsay... like a R33 or an R34 backlight? will it fit?
or is there anything that can be done to make the backlights for the 95-98 240SX more attractive/distinctive/exotic?

u have to do alot of modifying to make skyline lights fit.. and i think the S14 rear looks fine... but i think it does look high so i say leave the lights alone and get a back bumper kit
NOTE: no ALTEZZA LIGHTS PLEASE! they are played out!

of course no Altezza lights man! it'll just make the car looked riced.....
hmmm.. so nothing else can be done to make it look nicer? dude......................

i saw a 240 with, get this, a tail-light clip from an IMPALA (new one)!  thats right- an IMPALA. its like 4 circles, 2 big 2 small.  it looked hot.  really hot.  couldnt find the owner to ask how long it took, etc., but it looked VERY good.  what im doing is getting the eyeliners (c-west) for the front and back.  contact shawn at autoimaging.com.  OR- if you gotta budget and are artistic, you can outline them yourself with graphics vinyl (adhesive backing), but its very tricky because of the curves around the lights...  outline the lights with it, then use thin strips to seperate the orange light from the red, etc. this is a 240 im referring to , by the way.  youre shooting for a silvia look here .

get the 97-98 tailights, they look much better, with the ridges and the black nissan emblem. they should be a good fit, I saw one with those on. and they look more aggresive, it's like nissan made the 95-96 smooth and 97-98 sharp.

ok i sent the pic to u too @ wav, the eye liner is for s-14a to make the head lights look like the s-14b it attaches to the hood i believe

just checked out the pic you sent, that's pretty neat..
know of any companies which offer AFM lights for the 240? i highly doubt one exists.
