This thing just won't come off! I've pulled, and pulled and pulled and pulled. I took a vice grip to it, and even got Buba the local wrestler to come try. It seems it's glued down to the metal. My friend's in his S13 comes right off. I don't get it!! I want to take a heat gun to it but I'm scared of melting the plastic. I know someone has taken thiers off before, so any suggestions?

i had the same problem. im not sure how the weather is there right now cuz when i first tried it, it was at night so it was kind cold. my friend told me to try it the next day when it was hot and my car (inside) was pretty warm and it came right off. if it doesnt get hot right now where your at just leave the heater on or use a hair dryer so the glue that holds the e-brake boot gets warm and not grip to much and you should be able to pull it right off. hope this helps

Strange, mine just slides right out.

I would first try turning the handle part of the boot around to get it loose and wriggle it out. Also removing the console would really help.
