Ok, so far I have taken out, or plan to take out the following

Power Windows
Power Locks
Air Conditioner
Sound Wall
Back Seats
Power Steering

Anything else I'm missing?

Um...
Flywheel, drive shaft.  Lighten those.
Spare tire, jack, lighter front seats.

I thought this was posted before but I couldnt find it in the search so here it is again. I dont think I can think of everything right now but here it goes.

1. Lightweight Seats

2. Lightweight wheels

3. Carbon Hood

4. Remove Rear Seat Belts

5. Rear carpeting

6. Remove Tar From Floor Boards (Car will be louder) I did the rear of my s13 and it was find though.

7. Ditch the stereo or at least the sub.

8. Take out the passenger seat.

9. Make a custom carbon fiber sunroof.

10. A/C system weights alot.

Hmmm... there is a ton more but I cant think of anything more :\

Want to lighten your car?  Please tell me it's black and roughly a '93.  Oh, and that you live close to New Jersey.

If so, buy a fiberglass hood.  After you've done so, sell me the hood that's on your car now!  =)  Thanks.

Seriously though, a fiberglass hood can save you lots of weight - even if I wasn't currently in the market for an undented and unscratched '93 stock one.

There should be sound deadener all over... sorry, not interested in your deadener =]

The only problem with putting sound deadener "all over" is weight.  It would weight almost 50 pounds more to insulate the car from road noise with Dynamat.  If you want a light car, get used to the noise, or turn up your radio.  Wait.. that's going too... hmm...

I'm sure you'll find people all over this forum interested in the stuff you pull out, unless you had a need to hold on to it :-)

replace the mechanical and electric fan with a single aftermarket electric fan and take out the fan shroud...probably only saves a couple of pounds, but, hey, every little bit helps.

Why would you do that?  Why would you lighten anything that you don't have to.
At 300rwhp, taking 100 pounds off the car is .1 seconds at the end of the track.
So for a couple tenths, you are getting rid of all the creature comforts the 240sx came with?
That's why my post was mainly driveline weight.  Every pound you knock off that is the equivalent of 2.7 hp according to Unorthodox Racing.  Also, a different source said 1 pound off the driveline is worth 20 pounds off the car.
(If you have a different daily driver, and want this as a pure race, disregard this message!)

remove the spoiler..... remove all the headliner...... lol it'll be ugly but it'll be lighter lol  remove the rear panels and use some paint instead of them.... remove the heat sheilds i think theres like 4 will be like 20-25 lbs alltogether

You'd be a flaming ass to remove the heat shields.... er... you'd HAVE a flaming ass.
I would leave those.  Especially if you are gonna race the car.  The exhaust would heat up... and I'm sure Nissan would not have put heat shields on stuff that didn't need them.
Lets see... Header... lose power without it, as engine temp will be much higher. &nbsp;Resonator (thing by header) Same thing. &nbsp;Engine bay heat=lost hp. &nbsp;Catalytic Converter. &nbsp;Well... they don't work until they are 600 degrees, so... &nbsp;and finally... the exhaust pipe. &nbsp;I'd leave that, cuz i'm sure its there for a reason. &nbsp; But I can't think of it. &nbsp;I just would leave it <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> .
