how many of you, when going flush fitment, actually splice and rewire to relocate the harness higher in the fender??

or is there an easier way??

WTH is that??
there's gotta be a more practical way.
i've seen some of these mofo's on here donked down low, and no one really mentions anything about they're harness or what they do to protect it or relocate it.

relocate it to the engine bay like a boss.
takes like two hours tops.
just disconnect the junction box and pull it all thru.

Here you go. Auto Produce Boss. They have it for the S13, S14, and S15.

I have a S13 and I removed my fenders and tucked them as far up along the frame as possible. So far my tucked wires hasn't come undone or loosen to the point it's sagging. I still inspect it before and after I drive it.

is the loom long enough to just pull that fender off and tuck it in there without having to splice and lengthen it??

Yeah, you can even just move it up to the side of the "inner fender frame" or whatever you want to call it.

Pulling it through the engine bay is the best way. No need to lengthen.

there is a bit of slack on both ends, mainly on the engine side though.
I just shoved some of the slack through and gained about 3" on mine.
I actually shoved it so high that my fender is now sticking out to much, lol.

i think the simplest way to solve my problem is put it higher on the inner fender.
cause i just need about another inch or so of clearance to get where i want to be.

on my s14 the harness is cut-resplicted together and in the engine bay out of harms way!

IIRC there are some holes in the fender up in there you can use to ziptie it extra tight. I have mine ziptied in there really tight.

Every so often, it may rub, but you can protect it even more by just covering in some sort of tubing and then taping it nice and tight, followed by ziptie.
