locking the crank?

is there a way to lock the crank? i was having trouble taking off my flywheel yesterday because it kept spinning. i think when ace did it, he clamped the flywheel down to stop it from moving. but there should be a way to lock it right?

Put a breaker bar on the crank nut/crank pulley in front.

Or you could just call a clutch shop and ask what they use... I think its a cheep tool.
