i installed frp doors on my 89 240 hatch.... im now looking at some lexan options for the side doors. i dont want to permanently install them so they cant be removed easily, but i dont want to install them on the window tracks and crank.(i would rather now put that extra weight back in....) so i either thought of button snaps around the window edge, or to have some sort of hooks on the top with a latch on the bottom.... i just want to be able to remove the window as a whole when i want to, but still be able to fasten it securely when needed..... and what are the d1, fd rules on the way lexan is mounted?
i know there is a lot of experience on these forums, so please help this fist time car builder out please!?!
