New to the "240 game" or new to cars in general?

Seriously.

OBD is a mandated universal protocol, every vehicle sold in the US must meet it's standards.

You must have just turned 16 and never driven a car before to ask such a remedial question.

I was being literal... Research and you will realize how dumb you make your self look.

better yet, help the guy out. thats what forums are for. not everyone is as good as searching a forum for certain topics. durr.

a little side note, obdII is good with assisting in diagnosing your car

Way to dredge up a pointless thread.

Forums are NOT for helping people answer basic, remedial, useless questions. Is there a forum out there that discusses how to turn on a light switch? Doubtful. This question is one step from that.
