Ok, been doing a little research, and found this chart. By looking at it, you can see that the SR20det has only 240 degrees intake while the naturally aspirated sr20de and P11 have 249 degrees of duration. The sentra guys have been putting Highport cams in Lowports and getting ~7whp or so. I believe you could find Sentra Highport cams for next to nothing. Heck even if it give you 7-10 hp it would be worth the $50 or so investment.

I have also heard it improves your top end a bit, I know my S14 w/T28 falls on its face after 6000rpm. The extra duration helps the T28 breath a little better on top. I'm not saying the cam will turn your car into a monster, but if it helps, it helps.

It works splendidly, tad bit higher degrees to aid the turbo. This is just like camswaps in KA's

So would the Highport Sentra Cams work on a S14 Sr20det while keeping the VTC? Is it just the G20 or would is there a certain year sentra/200sx that would work?

I would say I gained about 10hp by switching to the NA cams, def noticable. I have an extra set of RWD de cams if you need them. Def worth the hour to swap them out, get an NA throttle body too, 60mm vs 52mm. The NA cams also have more lift than the turbo cams 10.5mm vs 9.5mm and like you said 248 duration vs 240.

The VE cams won't work, they are for a totally different system. They have two sets of profiles (like VTEC), if I was going to get spendy, I would just get some JWT cams (or equivalent).
