on the ka24de?? would an optima battery be that much better than a prostart or diehard, etc?? i thought it would be lighter but a lifted a redtop and it seemed ehavier than a prostart so i just got the smallest prostart!! hehe or should i exchange it back for an optima?? thanks!!

No gains from it other then if your running lots of audio crap. Only benifit is to get a smaller lighter battery. I got a WestCo Miata Battery thats 5lbs lighter and sealed design.

Like West said, no real performance unless you go lighter. HOWEVER there is a difference in cold weather, you'd want a cold specialized battery. But pretty moot in the normal U.S.

the optima is also a dry cell battery so if you did a trunk relocation, you wouldn't have to worry about battery acid fumes.

My brother, went for a Motorcycle battery in his b16 crx. Made custome brackets for it. There was a big weight difference bitween that and his stock battery.
