A while ago there was a thread about the poly bushings and tcrods, something about the rod itself breaking. What was the final word on that and has anyone run into any problems with them. I am going to get my pressed within the next couple of weeks and just want to make sure there will be no problems

IIRC it was only an issue on a lowered car! I got a set if ya want them... and if ya wanna wait like 3 weeks ill sell you my tc rods with them already pressed in! Kazamas are my new friend! :D

I've had mines on for about 3 months now and my S14 is lowered. I've pushed it hard through the mountains and they work like a charm. BTW, the complaint about the T/C rods breaking were for Energy Suspension bushings not allowing enough flex causing too much stress on the rod. Whiteline did a write up on it on their site also on freshalloy.com.

So when I put these new TC-Rods with the whiteline busings in them on the car, will I need to get an alignment done?

Muzzy, when you put in the Nismos did it effect the alignment of your car at all. I heard you don't need to cause the distant between any of the component doesn't change. I don't know which ones are better, I just need new ones and the whitelines were only $40.
