Theres one specific to misawa and its drifters... The guy that runs it drives a grey 180 and one of the members drivers a custom JZX100 widebody. I think the name is like Gaijin drift. The guy is also on ZY and his screen name is EL-Boogie.

Uh, yeah...Misawa is in northern Japan. Its the asshole of Japan we live in. Yokota is way better, but they have their faults too.

a31cefiro, tell me about atsugi man. I just applied for quite a few jobs there, of course, yokota and Okinawa too. I liveed in Oki for 5 years and after 2 years of being off of Japan, am ready to go back, don't really know why I left, but anyhow, I'll be back sometime next year, hopefully before before or right around summer. Let me know...

how is it out there? Partly sunny...cool temp, probably around 40ish degrees Farenheit. You can also google the area too. If you're referring to the area, it's alright. There's a track that we can go to about 30 minutes away on the expressway. Tokyo is much better. More shops/garages/tuners/factories/people.

Atsugi is cool! Good location close to Tokyo and Yokohama
plenty of shops and lots of things to keep yourself occupied.

I go there a lot... due to my wife living around the Kansai area of Japan. Kyoto is much more closer and I actually enjoy it there more than Osaka.

quick question talkin to this guy asked if he was nihonjin he said eh (no) nipponjin. whats the technical difference?

I wish I lived in Japan!!! I want to learn Japanese before I go visit. Is it hard to learn the language?. I am bilingual but I know Latin languages are easier to learn since they have their similarities. Japanese is just a completely different consept.

i just started learning it. seems pretty complicated since it's made up of three types of characters, but it doesn't really seem that much more difficult than spanish

it's not hard to learn really. just have to stick with it. a good way to learn is to study (duh) and watch japanese shows or news. it will help you. trust me lol

i hope i can go back soon! im going to re enlist and lat move so after school ill request for Iwakuni!

anyone here been stationed before?

It's not too hard to get a good understanding of the language. I learned a lot pretty quick but I don't use my Spanish very much anymore so it's slowly slipping away.

DeukalionS14 - a lot of people on this forum who live in Japan are stationed here.
