I need a gt28RS OR gt2871r W/gt28RS STYLE Housing, the one mounted behind the turbo, stock or hks!!! NEED ONE ASAP. IF you have a blown turbo, sell me the waste gate!!! PM with a price please.

MAKE SURE ITS THE ONE THAT MOUNTS BEHIND THE TURBO. Bought one from 240sx and told them to MAKE SURE IT mounts behind the turbo like the RS style, they confirmed, recieved it, and turns out it is not!!!

the wastegate i recieved

you can see its meant for the wrong turbo. Picture shows how wastegate is suppose to be

even if the bolt/holes line up (which they do not) the wastegate would be too long.

Does not line up.

uploading pics to photobuck, will keep editing with more images. i recieved from 240sxmotoring the wastegate for the gt28 that is mounted in front of the turbo housing. I need the WHOLE thing, not just the wastegate (arm), i need the arm and the mounting plate!!

saw your other thread but just gonna reply here. you got that style wastegate and bracket because you told them you had a "RS" style compressor housing which clearly you do not from your own pics.

taken from atp's own site where you said you looked.
here's what you got:
Garrett GT2871R : atpturbo.com (http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=GRT-TBO-022&Category_Code=GRT)

here's what you told 240sxmotoring you had:
Garrett GT2871R turbo with GT28R style Compressor Housing NO ACTUATOR : atpturbo.com (http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=GRT-TBO-036&Category_Code=GRT)

here's the wastegate bracket you need for your compressor housing:
Wastegate Bracket T04B : atpturbo.com (http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=ATP-WGT-021&Category_Code=WGT)

here's a 12-14psi wastegate:
WG-ACT-28RS-14PSI : atpturbo.com (http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=ATP-WGT-025&Category_Code=WGT)

here's a couple of pics from garrett's website comparing the different compressor housing styles and their respective wastegate's
what you have:

what you ordered for:

i know it can get confusing. the gt2860r (aka gt28rs/aka disco potato) has the same style compressor housing as you do off the shelf. just because it's "called" the gt28rs doesn't mean that's the compressor housing. the drop in style 2871's that you see, and what you ordered for, have the gt28r style compressor housing. this is referring to the gt2560r, which is confusingly also known as the gt28r.

i am no turbo expert, but i think i'm leading you in the right direction?

^^^Thinking about it, i guess you are right, dont know for sure, but it looks like the t04b actuator is right??? I guess ill order it and find out!!

Edit: But the type of compressor housing i have is the same as the disco potato one, hence the RS in gt2860RS. The gt2871r does not have RS, thats why i was refering to my turbo as the gt2871r turbo with RS compressor housing, right? Oh well, i already sent another email to 240sxmotoring. I guess ill just try and sell this and buy the one i need.

ANYONE CAN CONFIRM THE BRACKET ABOVE WILL WORK FOR SURE?
