Wiper Fluid Motor

Where is the wiper fluid motor located? I know it is by the fluid resevoir, but what is the easiest way to get to it? I took the battery out to try to find it but there is a metal plate welded to the frame to hold the battery. Can I only access the fluid resevoir from under the car?
