Problem with power windows

I have a 96 with power windows and my passenger window stopped working from the passenger side. I can put it down from the driver side and if I try from the passenger side all it does is slow it down. I figure since it slows it down that there is power getting to it. Also not sure if it makes a difference but i do not have power locks. Any help would be appreciated, its really no big deal but i would just like it to work.
