I just ran Seafoam through the intake and I now have 3 ECU codes.

Code 32 EGR malfunction
Would this be the solenoid only or would the code show for the EGR valve?

Code 35 Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor Is this the O2? If it is; can I just clean it?

Code 14 Vehicle Speed Sensor signal circuit open Is this mounted somewhere by the transmission? Where is it? What do they cost to replace? Could it just be the wire broke?

i was thinking of the EGR valve yes.

and speed sensors usually go for like 60 used

Code 14 seems to cover the whole harness circuit. Alternator, starter, oil sender, and trans sensors.
My speedometer works fine even with Code 14.

clear the code, then drive it around a few times, make sure between the trips you turn the car off. if the light comes back on after those trips then worry about changing parts

high nox is cuased by high cylinder temps

bad egr system will cause high nox.

post up your Results and i can give u some tips to lower it

also reset your ecu to make sure codes are gone

15 mph NO 3652
25mph NO 3045
Everything else passed Both visual & emissions

I changed the spark plugs today. The O2 sensor is 2 months old but I have that Code 35 so I might buy another.

I drove around and stopped a few times and the CEL sometimes went off and then it usually came back and stayed on.

When you say "Clear the light"; do you mean unplug the battery for 24 hours?

MAX NO is:
15mph 807
25mph 746

I did Seafoam, changed the O2 and spark plugs. The CEL is now off.
I don't know if Seafoam cleaned the EGR but the CEL code is gone.

I'm wondering if G2P and Premium Gas could get my car to pass right now.

pm me

looks like your cat/egr is shot

but we can try something

try running some injector cleaner/seafoam in gas tank
to clean up injectors also

i use to live where there's smog and this helps to get rid of NOX as well. first i didnt pass because my NOX level was high. so i changed my motor oil. and went back. pass with flying colors.

after that kept changing motor oil before i go smog my daily driver. "note this is on my daily driver a honda accord."

Found out the EGR solenoid had no ground. The manifold passage was filled with carbon where the EGR mounts. The Vacuum lines were melted back there on an SOHC.
And the egr carbon was there after running seafoam through the throttle body twice.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1 week later after Seafoam.....had to change 2 leaking fuel injectors--CODE 45

The EGR ports were still full of carbon.
