What does hubcentric mean?

looked it up in dictionaries, searched, heard it tossed around, don't know what the heck it means. People say their wheel spacers and/or brake rotors are hubcentric. What does that mean?

it just means that there is a centering lip on the hub that the brake rotor and wheel rests on. this makes it easier to get the wheel *exactly* in the center so you don't get vibrations at speed.

also, it means that when you take off the lugs, the wheel should sit happily on the hub rather than sagging with the nuts. ... haha that sounds so bad. It's good because it SOMEWHAT negates the need to check lugs often... as in, it's not QUITE as necessary to re-torque every couple hundred miles...

That said, they're kinda like a luxury item; not particularly necessary, but nice to have.
