I was in the junk yard, and found a sweet stearing wheel on a 1989 Maxima, i think it might have had a conversion hub, but im not sure. heres my question, will it fit if their is a conversion hub, and will it fit if their isent.

If it's an aftermarket wheel, it should fit one of a few types of hub adapters. The adapter is necessary so the wheel, which itself is just the rim and the solid piece that makes up the spokes, will mount onto the steering column. If you count the number of holes on the center of the wheel and measure the spacing, you can probably determine what type of hub (or "boss") it bolts up to. Then just get a 240SX hub of that brand, most (like the Momo hubs for example) are about $60 new.

I believe he can use the hub adapter from the Maxima. Momo lists the same part number 3508 for the '89-'98 Maxima and 240SX applications. Makes sense, because I've seen people put Maxima steering wheels in 240SXs.
