OK, first off I am buying springs for my S14a and Im paring them up with some KYB AGX's. On http://www.turboimport.com/catalog/240sx.htm they have some RS*R sprinsg for $155.00.

My questoin is are these the same springs that are in the Sring archives...

RSR Hard Springs
_ _ _Front = 5.0 kg/mm | 280 lb/in
_ _ _Rear = _4.2 kg/mm | 235 lb/in

If not would you all recommend them? They claim a 2 inch drop, it seems kinda low but give me soem feedback.

the hard wont be here till months end and dont know when dealers will sell them.

they are great btw. excellent for street use

these ones on turbo import are 3.8 kg front, 3 kg rear for s14

Damn, 280 lb/in is really that soft?

Heck, my Tokicos at ~160 are hard enough for me, plus I can't argue with the price :-)

Or am I just reading this wrong and the ones in the link are not the spring rates listed. . . I just love all the useful information you can't find in catalogues :P

yes, we're screwing with you. please don't visit the above website. kg/mm refers to spring rates and thats it. of course no one is crazy enough to name a BRAND after spring rate... why, its so silly...

Yup, you were just reading it wrong, and the listed rates are not for the linked springs.

This is also more of a Tech Talk thread...
