View Full Version : Q45 Injectors
I did some searching and came up with some inconclusive results.
I bought some Q45 Injectors (Not sure what year) since my Injector #1 died. I didnt do research on them before I bought them for some reason and now I need to know if they will work on my KA or even a SR.
Of course if they do fit then I need some Fuel Management... but ill try not to worry about that now.
awhile ago when i still had my kaT i got a set of the q45 injectors cause someone on here said it worked. i didn't have an extra fuel rail to see if it fits when i was there.
now i have 8 q45 injectors with nothing to do with them! not sure what year i got them out of. but it was a newer one. i'm also not sure if they are different from year to year.
if i remember correctly ; the q45 were thinner and longer.. something like the 1jzgte or 2jzgte toyota injectors.

I'm not for sure which year, but early q45 injectors are arround 270cc just like the KA24DE injectors.
Also I think they fit in the stock fuel rail on DOHC's. The only thing is someone told me they have a different spray pattern which could negatively impact performance.

sounds like top feed injectors then.... but, if it is really a side feed injector, is it red topped or blue topped?
they are definately side feed. i think they are dark blue/purplish.. i was told that they are 370cc and that is why i went out and got them. the stock ones i took out of the ka24de was red.

there's no way Nissan put 370cc injectors on an N/A V8...that would be good for roughly 600hp (it barely produces half that). I'd put money on them being NO BIGGER than 270cc.

i think it was back yard production(something like that) he said he used q45 injectors with his turbo kit and stock ka24de bottom end.
