Ok, so ive got a s14, and its n/a.

so would i be better off buying a complete motor with the turbo, piping ect. or
just buying all of the parts and putting them on my SR?:ugh:

thanks guys.

Get a whole motor, to many differences between the two. If you need more details get with me.

I got a whole motor. Actually I got a whole car and swapped the entire front subframe, lol.

5 lug and turbo in one shot.

Too much work to make a DE block into a DET. Between the high compression pistons and not having the proper oil feed and return lines, its way too much work. If you have more questions, hit up the local board...www.zeroyon.com

im using sr20 de + t engines in my daily 180SX
they are S14 bottom ends

S14 DE ~ flat top pistons
smaller conrods
no oil squirters..

you CAN drill the sump and put a barb fitting on it. for return line
for feed
T Piece it off the oil pressure sensor...

go buy yourself a 1.8mm cosworth metal headgasket for $180u.s off www.frsport.com (http://www.frsport.com)

then you should see around 9.5cr which will be enough for 300rwhp and 1bar of boost....

ive gone thru 3 of these engines in the past 6 months in drifting but thats due to bad timing at high rpm... i am putting another s14 de bottom end next week when i come back from japan and ill alter my tune and let you know how it goes............

feels really torquey downlow compared to a normal turbo engine btw....
