Hey guys, I was just wondering what a 97-98 S14 SE with Red Top SR and FMIC would run in the quarter? If I do a swap I won't have much more money to mod with other than the stock Red Top and I'm wondering if it'll be fast enough for me. The silvias run around 14 or so right? Thanks for the input.

Judging by your post I'm assuming it will be faster than you might be used to. Try the search function in the fututre. I felt nice so I searched for you on previous threads and people say that on average you might get low 14's or maybe high 13's. Good luck with the power if you get the SR. Don't want to see your next thread topic to be "I wrecked my car."

All stock i don't believe an SR can run in the LOW 14's. Maybe high 14's or low 15's. You can't just think you have an SR you'll be god. A stock redtop SR only pushs about 205hp and a FMIC est 215HP. If you get a intake, downpipe, exhaust, and a boost controller that would porbably get you a little closer to your goal. BUt to run in the high 13's its very unlikely for a stock SR

Did you search on Zilvia? Search on FA? Search on Google?
You'll find all you need to know.. and if that doesn't work, go to a 1/4 mile calculator online, input 2950-3000 pounds (depending on what you weigh), and 205 crank (180 wheel) horsepower. Click "Calculate" and it will give you the fastest theoretical time.

Get an intake? Do you mean intercooler?
