I really hope this is a trick question and that you actually do know that cars have 3rd gear... man..you guys need to grow up on this forum..it's the freakin' internet for god's sake! If he wants to say he drifts at 80 then fine...I know a lot of people who can do that...given most of them are back in Japan..but there are several here in the US as well. It's actaully very easy to do by throttle lift and small counter before a higher speed turn and very controlable as well..but you won't see the angle you might unless you yank the e-brake to get more angle..but then you begin to scrub more speed by doing so..so maybe he starts at that speed and then I can only imagine with not having that much power will of course lose speed approaching and through the turn. I know many guys with lower powered cars that start at high speeds just so they can at least keep some speed at an increased angle. If he's a poser..then WHO CARES..like I said, it's the internet..let him say what he wants...what can you do so well that you so quickly judge others? :rolleyes:

i wouldnt mind lowering my car except that my dumb exhaust hangs so low... it only has like 2 in gap from the ground. and that sunroof visor thing has been on the car so long that it left a permanent mark in the paint job so i just leave it on.

i also wouldnt mind changing my headlights b/c i hate projectors. oh well i cant complain i picked up the car for 500.

I have an s14, but as far as looks go for the s13 hatchabck...the pignose bumper completely OWNS. :bigok:

I still dont get what the big fuss is over the chuki (91-94) front bumper. The pig nose bumper WITH the lip looks better, imo.

When i'm able to get my s13 hb, it WILL have a zenki (pig nose) front bumper with the front lip.

rear fenders are pull 3/4" to 1" or so...

18x10 +13 for rears
18x9 +16 or something for front, or was it +20...i forgot the fronts

pulled fenders, depends how much u pull....

Nah dude, Steeles still has my hulk hands, that bastard... I did a rather efficient job of balling that bitch up though. That was the wreck that took place in June and damn near killed me. I am blessed to still be able to walk talk see and actually LIVE. I broke my jaw and right shoulder doing it, earned myself a 12 week paid summer vacation. But all is back on the right track though. I worked 16 hours of overtime last week, 6 this week and I am signed up for 39 hours of overtime for the last 2 weeks of the year. AT&T wireless sweetened the deal by paying us DOUBLE time on all the OT we work for the rest of the year, so I should be sitting in an S13 in mid-late January...

This is a little off topic, but i might as well ask anyways.

The next wheel that i'm hoping to buy, will be 17x9.5 with a + 15 offset with either 235 or 245 series tires. Now, with vertex wide fenders up front and rolled fenders in the rear, i think it will clear my coilovers (tein he's) ok, right? I have no problem running negative camber either, just as long as it isnt too much (over - 4) i'm just not sure how much i'll need. Thanks.

nah, should fit good...
going from the setup i have now from 17x9.5 +22 to 18x10 +13 rears:
going .5" wider in rear=5mm out more (5mm more on the inner side)
going 11mm less in offset

about 16mm total towards the pulled fender (15-20mm more)

3/4"= roughly 15mm

i'll have the same ratio of stretch from 235-40-17 with 245-40-18

my fronts currently are 17x8.5 +22
going to 18x9 +20 will be 7mm toward fender

i hope my math is right :p

coupe: tein he's (pretty much stock), zenki s14: bone stock, black zenki rps: nice rims w/good lip(i don't know what they are), vsld, silver rps13: juran strut bars, spl adj tension rods, kazama tension bar, and some rear components on the way (but that doesn't really count cause they aren't on the car yet) ohh and my dohc swap that i'm ohh so proud of :o I'm pretty much going to keep me exterior stock. I love the pignose. The only thing I'm really gonna do is get a new paint job in like july (stock color of course)

Dude, it's TOTALED!!!

He plowed over a few trees in the process of going off road and managed to keep it over top a small stream.

Let's see.....Rear glass: shattered, so is the quarter window, both front wheels have crucial toe in, and the rims are tucked way back into the fender, front bumper hanging on by one bolt, rear bumper broken in half and so was the renforcement, his rear tags were laying under the car under a bunch of leaves, drivers side door has tree damage, taillight broken in one spot.

He's only on liability insurance, and is going to sell everything possible off of it for a new one.

So far there's rims (suprisingly no damage), turn signals on bumpers, dash, seats, and some other stuff. no exterior...except the head lights and drivers side turn signal.

Get at me on AIM george, cause I can call him up and you can start making offers.


I was just going around the turn and I saw his lights go in some weird direction, and right then i knew.
I've seen 3 cars in the same spot this month there cause of snow and ice. But they were only like right off the road in the grass. (it's a heavily traveled back road)

hey thanks for the compliment man.Well, I HAVE NO IDEA what color i should paint it!! lol :). i was thinking of just going with red again! I cut the middle bar off and then used masking tape as backing on the grill to let the 3M Panel Bond setup. Then I filled the holes with panel bond after it setup I sand and shaped it. Then primed the grill
( Panel Bond is a Two-part epoxy just like JBweld)

Got em for $300 from a dude in texas! THANK GOD. I had been looking for them for about a year. I actually even set up a supplier in Germany. I can get them Brand new for $650 SHIPPED from Germany!!! remember the Germans are LHD as well so the beam pattern is correct.

Also an added bonus with the euro lights is the ability to control the beam height to up to 4 settings from inside the car. Exactly like the Infiniti QX4. (same switch even!) It's supposed to be for when you have a heavier load in the car or whatever, but if you need to read that sign down the road without your high beams it is good for that too... plus it is just cool hehe

Haha, yeah that was on FA not here. Not everyone here cruises those boards. My rims are Work E-wing mesh. I do plan to get another front..actually it's upstairs at VeilSide as we speak..but I'm waiting for my over fenders and to finish a hood project before I throw a new one on..I'll keep this one though for track use. The rear valance is some generic brand from japan. Look very close to OEM Kouki's but slightly larger.

I remember seeing those wheels a while ago and I recomended that my cousin get them for his honda. I think they are cool for people that are keeping their stock fenders but if you want to go wild with the rims, the offsets just aren't low engough. 17x9 +19 would look really good on your car with your current setup.

Here is my ride, Check out the massive wheel gap, which is soon to be rectified. Cusco camber adjustable pivot ball mounts are being hand carried from Japan. Once I have those my H&R springs can go on and the car can be properly aligned.
Other mods: AEM Intake, Apexi N1 catback, Koni yellow struts, Cusco strut bar, Axxas brake pads, Konig GTR rims, Yokohama AVS ES100 tyres, LED heads up tach, JL Audio speakers.
Future mods: Engine rebuild, with 9.5:1 pistons, custom turbo kit...once I find another KA24DE so that I don't fook up the engine I have now.

I got a funny thing about red vehicles. When I needed to buy my truck (Jan 00), there were only 4 V6 Xcab S10/Sonomas in the chicago area (US emissions thing, GM had to sell a certain number of 4 bangers before they could sell more 6's). The only one with ZQ8 sport suspension was red. A year later my father and I went 50/50 on buying out the payments on a '98 Jimmy from a company going out of buisness...also red. I looked for over a year to find a 5 speed S14, all i found were like 100mi away. One day I found one 12 miles away, dontcha know it was red too.

Hybrid. Two BIG thumbs up on the car. I love the way you did it. From the fully gutted interior to stock-ish SR to the 15" meshies.... even the lip-less zenki bumper and not my first choice in exhaust... still looks wonderful. Exactly how I would have built an S13. I'd trade my s14 for that any day. Very very nice.
