i wondering. if i want to have a stock ka and install a custom turbo ex manifold with t4 turbo. what else i need to make it runs.
will it run if i just let go like this????

It'll run.... but with no downpipe you'll spew hot exhaust gas right at your firewall and everything on it, probably melting everything. You won't see a powergain since it isn't connected to any intercooler/intake piping, and ironically that would be a good thing since if you did boost, with no wastegate you'd run some insane amount of boost and you'd blow up the engine. At least, untill your turbo blows up from not having any oil in it.

i don't think heat wrap would do much when exposed directly to hot exhaust gases....

although, i guess since he doesn't have to worry about oil drain (with no oil) he could get a custom manifold that mounts the turbo below the steering rack to protect his engine bay.... it's not like a rock jumping up and nailing the turbo would be so bad anyways.
