This is for an SR20det in S13... So a couple of weeks ago I had a major boost leak, and I finally had fixed it by replacing all the vacuum lines, and so the car ran pretty bad ass... A week later, a heater hose from UNDER the intake manifold cracked (Who puts hoses under there???).

So I set out to go and replace all the hoses, and put a new plenum intake mani on as well... I take apart the stock manifold, replace hoses, TRY to put plenum manifold on, and it doesn't match up with my innercooler piping, so I decide to just stick with the stock one.

When I start putting it all back together, I realized I forgot to put the gasket between the upper and lower part of the intake manifold :tweak:...

So I start up the car, and have a REALLY high idle at around 2k rpms, and wouldn't go any lower, and I had a huge boost leak. So I adjusted the IAC screw and it's down to 700.

Could the gasket be the cause of my problems?

let me get this straight. you put the 2 halfs of the manifold back togather WITHOUT the gasket? and you wonder why there is a leak???

Yes, very dumb of me, I know this. The gasket kit I got, the gasket doesn't fit between the 2 halves. And I didn't rememer there being one on... I'll go get one, and put it on.. And report back.

So put the gasket in... Still the same though, could it be a leak from the injector bunges? It seems they are a little louder than normal? Or could that even cause a boost leak?

Well, seeing as I can't figure this stupid thing out, anyone know of any shops around my area that may be of service?
