View Full Version : CA 1986 corolla sr-5 CHEAP!!! CLEAN CHASIS!!!

I can't have this sitting anymore so here it is. 1986 corolla sr5 coupe, red/black two-tone, 5-speed, with 247939 miles. No accidents/original paint. The chasis and body are very clean. NO rust, scrapes, or framerail dents on the underside. The flare on one quarter panel is a bit dented and other then that the body itself just has normal small dings. The car itself is 100% complete and 100% stock. The dashboard is cracked and the door panels need some work, but the rear interior is VERY clean. Included with the purchase of the car will be a set of GTS rear side panels that need re-upholstery. The car has sat for years and does not run. To make it run all that is needed is a rebuilt carb, a tune-up, a clutch, and normal maintenance items (belts, hoses, fluids, etc...). I drained ALL the old gas and put a few gallons of fresh 91 octane no more then 4-5 months ago when I was trying to get it running. The car is a lien sale in my name, but I never bothered to actually register it. I do have all the paperwork from the lien sale. Being a lien sale though it should have no (or very little) backed registration fees as I only got the car maybe 6 months ago.

The car is located in northridge CA, 91324 (san fernando valley).

If anyone is scared of the lien sale stuff, don't be. On the lien sale papers I am listed as the seller. Mechanic's shops sell cars like this all the time and being a lien sale means that all the backed registration is gone. I've had a couple somewhat decent offers, but not quite enough yet.

aaron is a great mechanic!, car looks decent only if i had the money =) someone buy this that is a killer price.

LOL indeed! I think the original trunk was badly dented on the top. It was my buddy's car.

It does not run. It needs a carb to run. I did run it using some carb cleaner and other then the carb everything works. I do not know what mechanical issues there may or may not be with the engine and drivetrain, other then that the clutch is bad that is.
