View Full Version : CA FS/FT: 1989 240sx Coupe - $700

Hey guys.

So, I bought this 5 speed 1989 coupe (SE with moonroof) with the intention of fixing it and such, but a friend of mine smashed his up about a week later, and will probably be a bit cheaper to fix so I jumped on it.

No need for 2, so here it is. Pics to come in a while when I can find batteries, but for now, here is a list of the bad:

- Salvaged title (probably a front end colission since the rad support is wavy, the crash bar is missing)

- 75A fuse blows out. If you can fix this the car will run nicely. I drove it until I put a new full-sized battery in it and then all the power died.

- Needs new exhaust hangers. I took off an aftermarket exhaust and the hangers got cut in the process.

First $500 takes it.

Located in Bellflower, CA (near Long Beach).

Edit: Forgot to note that I have a crash bar in the back seat of the car. Included, of course.

Thanks for the interest. Car is still for sale. If I dont get rid of it by Monday, i'm just gonna keep it and get it fixed.

Really interested in trading for a vert. Lemme know what you've got!

I can almost definitely say that car has some trunk or frame damage back there.

Wow this reminds me of my 240sx Coupe, it had the same exact dent in the rear quarter and no crash bar. Wow, Just out of curiousness, when did you buy it?

I'm very interested in buying this car, how many miles are on it?

Around 140k miles. I would go outside and get the exact reading, but its late and im cold lol.

I got it probably... 2 months ago or so? Sounds about right. I know 3 other 240 owners that have a dent in the same place though. Seems kinda common lol
