Alright, tonight I removed the tranny and all (Clutch and pressure plate) and I took out the old throwout bearing and it spun freely, but the new one, doesn't spin at all, even after a lot of grease.

Also, how do you attach the clip on the throwout bearing?

thanks in advance.

How can I explain any better.

The old one was spinning, the new one is not.

I just wanna know if the new bearing is supposed to spin (Well duh, it's a bearing), and if it's supposed to, how to get it to, or should I just use the old one.

My old OEM bearing was turning well, but I could tell it was kinda loose. Got a new OEM bearing, and it was also turning well, but it was more solid turning. Does that make sense? Anyway, sounds lke your new bearing is not good.

What do you mean by clip? You mean sleeve?

I figured the clip part out.

Would I be okay just leaving in the old TOB? It seems to spin freely, just doesn't slide on the shaft to well, but the other bearing completely doesn't spin at all.

if your in a jam because of work, just use the old one....but order a new one and replace it a little later.

Alright, new delima.

I just used the TOB off my old S13 Tranny, spins freely.

Anyway, when I was taking the tranny out, I broke the CPS, I bought a new one, would I be able to stick it in after the tranny is installed so I don't break it again?

Thanks for the help peeps.

I already installed everything, I didn't grease anything, it was still greased from the s13 tranny.

Everything is working great!

I don't even know where the pivot ball is.
