View Full Version : SR20DET MAF Problems?

Alright so my car has a Z32 MAF on it and runs horrible pretty much pushing fuel out of the tail pipe.... So I got an Emanage that is tuned for a z32 and put some 550 injectors in which the emanage is tuned for as well.. Still runs horrible like before.
What could be wrong?

I tried rewiring the MAF still the same and it will rev past 3000 RPM's when it is plugged in but not when it is unplugged.

I am pretty new at these engines and have searched for answers but have came up unsuccessful.

Any input would be great!

Double check your settings. You've got to be missing something. maybe you happened to pick up a bad maf.

i think the maf should be good. its more your ignition. either plugs, cas. etc

I thought the way to tell if it was a bad maf was just to unplug it and if it stills runs the same it's bad?

take maf off and give it a good cleaning might be as easy as that.

if it's dirty it'll just send wrong signals and do same sort of thing that's happening. but still could be alot of other things also.
