I've been having this problem for a while now, but it's been getting worse and worse over time. Once the car is warm it will not start unless I disconnect the coolant temp sensor. While I am driving it'll start bucking and back firing.

I changed the coolant temp sensor twice, wiring harness, so what else could it be?

I have a power fc, gt30 turbo, 740 injectors.

Check for Vac and Boost leaks.

I checked for vac and boost leaks, everything is good. When I punch it, it runs good.

Which sensor did you replace? There are 2 water temp sensor, one for the ECU and one for the gauge cluster. Change the one with 2 wire plug one on top of the thermostat housing.

do you have the starter wire to the ecu hooked up? the car uses that as a "cold" start input and interacts with the CTS differently on a warmed up car than on a cold one.

also are you talking about the single wire CTS or the two wire one? the two wire is to the ecu, the single wire is to the gauge cluster. the two wire one is ECU specific, the one wire is chassis/cluster specific.

hope this helps?

(just saw ^^^ he posted)

I change both sensors already.

Would you happen to know what color the starter wire is?

Could it be the ecu?

i know it sounds silly but did you check the injectors/o-rings for leaks?
maby a o-ring is expanding from heat and leaking causing flooding... i had that happen to my ka..
