well my car ran fine this morning, still doing the idle hunt and running a bit rich, so i said, well lets clean the MAF at school. i cleaned it, reinstalled it and bam, runs like snot!
it will idle but barely a 700rpms..i can rev it but wont rev past like 5k or so. left MAF unplugged to get home and wouldn't rev past 2k like usual. did cleaning the MAF (w/ MAF cleaner) mess it up? it was throwing Code 12 in Mode three..i got home, unhooked the battery for just a second or two, hooked it back up, and did mode III again and got code 55 but it still ran the same..im sure the plugs are ruined..is my MAF junk you think? if anyone has an extra CA MAF, can you help me out? i really just need a car to drive to school thanks..
