ok well 1st off, every now and then i will start my car and the check engine light is on and it will not run right. smells like gas a lot and dont rev past 3500. i sometimes turn it off and back on and the light is gone, and everything is back to normal. today i tried clearing the code, and the ecm didnt even want to go into diagnosing mode. i turned the knob on the ecm with the screwdriver and it didnt want to flash the check engine light. i kept turning it on and off, and finally the light went off, and then it finally read the code 34 which is the knock sensor. this all started after i went ka-t. when the check engine light isnt on runs like a champ and all. and once it starts without a check engine light the light never comes on while driving. anyone have a clue? thanks
