ECU code 55

Sorry for all the posts lately but this car is driving me nuts.
So yesterday my car started up right away, no problem. But after it warmed up the idle started surging so i turned it off to figure out the problem, well no it wont start. i pulled the code 55, it says "other malfunction consult terminal" how do i test the consult terminal. this car is driving me nuts

I thought code 55 was "all clear"/no problems?

I'm not 100 percent sure, but I believe code 55 is that everything is fine with the ECCS system.
try cheching the iacv (sp?) idle control for the rpm surging

55 is no codes all clear.

I moved some of the wiring harness around looking for maybe a loose wire or a vacuum leak near the IM. maybe my ignitor is shot, how does one test those?
