Project 240SX Thread

Hey guys..Ive been here for a bit but never made an introduction so, hi. I bought this car as a project, i knew it was blwn but it had an SR in it so i decided why not. For less than a grand i can deal with it. But it is truly a project, just check out the pics. I posted this over on nicoclub and now i just looking for some input over here. My goal was some where around 300 on stock internals but idk if i can even achive that with my budget/ motor condition. Well heres some pics. This starts wit the TEARDOWN process so far, but ill be taking pics all the way through and wil be inlcuding the build up

Well as you can see theres oil in the intake manifold. I bought the car with a blown motr so i guess i shouldnt be surprised, especially when i found this.

WTF is the point of this thread? The whole engine is absolutely trashed. Looking at the condition of that cylinder, unless you're planning on boring the fuck out of that cylinder, there is no hope for it. That nice lil chip on the head, no valve will fucking seal that shit. Your better off picking up another SR and another wiring harness.

Also, this shit aint fucking worth a thread. We've all seen rebuilds and such, this dont even count as any of that. Its like show and tell of some paper weight that you call an engine.

Gee thanks for telling me what i already know. What Im goin through is a tear down process, jerk, what dont you understand? I also stated i needed a block and i am lookin for a harness now. Wow i didnt think i need a flame suit, holy crap, lol. W/e. When this car is finished i will amazed and so will you. Which is the whole point of this thread, sry you could catch it

Actually, what IS the point of this thread?
If this is a build thread, try again when you have a "built" thread, or at least more progress than taking stuff apart and posting an "I need..." list.
If this is an information thread on proper techniques to rebuild an engine (which is not how I am seeing it), then I implore you again to try again when you are done.
Either way, this has already turned south and is not likely to see redemption... I will kill it now.
