ok my question is this, is the i have seen different things posted online about the wiring of this plug. I wired an s13sr into an 95 s14. i wired the white/black wire to the black/white wire on the s13sr harness. some writeups say the black/white wire is ground. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v46/om1kron/My%20Cars/1996%20240sx%20Kouki/2008-12-13%20-%20more%20Harness/2008-12-13001.jpg

Not sure if this is true for all SRs.... buuuuttttttt..... it's supposed to go back to your ecu. At least that's what my sr fsm and ka fsm say.

Yes, the black/white is the ground.

Nissan never used Red or Red/Black as ground.

If you want to test this... plug in the relay, touch +12V to the other side of the signal for the relay and ground the black/white and see if it clicks...if it does it doesn't matter which of the two that you are using to make it click as ground. The signal isn't polarity sensitive.

When people used to tell me to go to the fsms, i used to ignore them completely. Now, having discovered their usefulness I don't think I'll ever have any wiring issues. You should really look at the FSMS to confirm anything anyone says, or you'll end up with a burnt ecu one day- lol, like me :( .

But the relay is suppose to click..Cause I'm having issues with my car wanting to cut off at times and I hear this click sound coming from near ecu which in a thread I made recently, I was told should be the eccs relay. Still gotta check it out..trying to figure why I keep getting code 34.

Yea, it's supposed to click, I am just giving him a means of testing if that should be the ground as only one wire is going to be ground. One will be switched 12V for the Signal and the other two will be +12V and the other will go to the ECU power. So, if it clicks by grounding it then it is for sure the signal and he should ground it.

In your situation make sure that you don't have any loose or intermittent connections in relation to the signal. Ground or Power side of the signal. Make sure that there isn't anything shorting out to another wire or the chassis in regards to the +12V Signal side.
