View Full Version : How does the clutch pedal work?

Seems really simple right?

Scenario:

* Clutch master cylinder is not connected to the pedal (and/or car)

* I depress (that means press down on) the clutch pedal and remove my foot

Should the pedal return or stay on the floor?

I'm asking because I feel I just replaced all the wrong parts and my issue may have been my clutch return spring.

Thank you. I will not not kick a jack stand from under the car and run my Cressida into it.

I'm going to go fill/bleed the system now. Wish me luck.

Take out the clutch dampener if you haven't already
That will make bleeding the clutch way easier
