RB Main Bolts

is it really necessary to upgrade the main crank bolts to ARP main studs ?

i know head studs are definatley priority. but i wanna save some money by just sticking to the factory main bolts. so is it a good idea to stick with OEM bolts or is it a bad idea to not upgrade ?

maybe if you want 1000+hp.... arp rod bolts have advantages, i would never waste the money on those things... unless if they were torque to yield bolts like the stock headstuds... If it is recommended to replace them just go arp all the way

thats the thing i donno if main bolts are really recomended .

all im doing is a mild rebuild , no new turbo or anything .. well atleast till mid spring

might as well do it now while you have it out, and upgrading. you will probably thank yourself later that you wont have to do it. plus you will have peace of mine when you start going crazy with boost
