Thinking of rebuilding my ka24e and I was wondering what all I need to do to prepare it for the new parts and about how much it should cost at the machine shop. Thanks

Yeah Im in the same boat, my motor needs a good rebuild, starting to idle rough and run like crap.

no worries, i searched around on nico. They have some decent info heres a post by someone


Mag the block
Hot tank
hone the cyl wallsThings you should do
bore .02 over
gap your rings
resurface the head/block
Every machine shop is different, you have to call them up and see what their prices are.
