Top mount turbo height...odd question

With the top mount turbo manifold for the sr20, does the turbo sit about at the same height as the top of the valve cover or does it stick above it? I know it will depend on the size of the turbo to a degree but lets say the gt2871r...This is important for my setup because hood clearance is at a premium..

ps...before everyone asks why, the motor is an s10 that has been bodydropped two inches into the doors..

a gt30 sits lower then the valve cover

sa weet...i was going to have a custom manifold made but if thats the case then i would be good to go :)
