So lemme get this straight...you got a superduperawesome 500whp engine with aftermarket pistons, fresh bottom end, port & polished head but you decide to slap back on the old stock headbolts?!?! Wow...

what turbo are you going to run?
that generally tells you how much power you can make..

if your aiming for 400rwhp id upgrade the headstuds personally... but standard can do you fine

400-425hp at the engine ( 350rwhp) there is nothing wrong with standard headstuds..!!

i would replace them anyways even if you were on the stock motor. at one point or another you will be tearing it apart to do cams, head work, HG, or rebuild. you will need it anyways so might as well get it now. reusing stock ones is not a good idea anyways. if you are going to spend money on stock bolts then might as well get some ARP studs. maybe it only makes sense to me :)

If you have the cams out you can replace them. But NOT 1 at a time. There is a Tq protocol that you have to follow when installing them.

i would definitely replace the head studs with ARP studs . my reason is because you can really tighten the head down much better then stock bolts thus leading to a more reliable headgasket and you wont have any issues down the road.

I have a question to post on here as well.

How about main studs ???

How about main studs ???

You need to have your main's bore checked and possibly realigned as the clamping force is different. Same for rod caps.

i've never heard of having to do that. all i heard was that with ARP mains you torque them down to just a bit lower then what ARP atually says .

I get mixed answers on whether you "have" to align hone the main. I would still check the bores with a T-gauge and the check bearing crush after switching from bolt to stud.
